Lucky 7

On the 7th day of December, 2024, my loving mother was born and named her Teofila Montehermoso Mas. Being the youngest among her siblings, my mother was the lucky one for us. She was the blessing to her own family as well as to her parents and siblings. Today is her 101st birthday in heaven. We also lucky enough and fortunate to have a loving Nanay, our mother. Nanay was a loving and caring mother. Also, she was an empathetic woman who is resilient, tough, hardworking, patient, responsible, determined, hopeful, faithful, understanding, courageous, helpful, kind, and can forgive persons.

Nanay together with her family surpassed many challenges in life but they never quit or surrendered. My mother tried her best to help and support her family at all times. Her death at the age of 94 was so painful and very sorrowful to us but her legacy as a loving mother remains with us. Her mother’s advice was our prime treasure more than anything else. Her greatest life served as our inspiration. Her personal and family values were very remarkable to us.
